Everyone wants to know was it right to kill Harambe the Gorilla?!
So if you haven't been watching the news lately in America but in Cincinnati a little 4 year old boy fell into a Gorilla cage at a zoo. The Gorilla then began to drag the boy around by the leg in his cage like a little doll. All you can hear is gasp and screams from the crowed and the boys mother saying "mommy is right here"
To save the boy they had to shoot and kill the gorilla. People want to know why did they have to kill the animal and why isn't the mother at fault for any of this? What you guys may not know is the cage had three to four layers to get to it before you could even fall down there. My question is why wasn't this mother watching her child? You know there are wild animals there...its a zoo keep you kid close. All you need to do is look down a few times to watch to see what he is doing.
Reports are saying the zoo's director, Thane Maynard just explained, "When it was determined that the child was being injured ... we had to make a decision to shoot and we did." He went on to say "the gorilla's behavior and knowing how strong it was also played a factor in the decision of killing the animal."
This story is sad and scary at the same time. Great minds how would you handle this if this was you?
